Embark on an immersive FOUR-WEEK ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN JOURNEY spanning across several vibrant cities in Europe. The 25 Summer School introduces a diverse selection of six courses, taking place from May to July, 2025.
Each course delves into unique themes and areas of exploration, allowing participants to choose the one that best resonates with their interests and schedule.

This marks the eighth installment in our acclaimed series, building upon the successes of 'Madrid Uncovered S2016,' 'Tribal Them Tribal You W2017,' 'Madrid Urban Condensers S2019,' 'The Scenic Box Madrid S2022,' 'La Lata de Sardinas Lisbon S2022,' and 'The Magic Box S2023.'

> Open to students and young professionals in the following fields:
> Architecture / Urban Design / Interior / Space / Communication / Product /  Design / Interactive / Expression Design / Civil Engineering /
> Individuals from other design backgrounds interested in the topic can apply as well

Prerequisite for Students > 
>  2nd year onwards (1st-year students are not eligible)

Prerequisites for Professionals > 
> Age < 30

> INR 76,000 (inclusive of all taxes). Fees will be paid Online

/ COURSE THEMATIC AND TEAMS /

Summer school 2025 comprises six courses each working on different themes and scenarios. While the core line of work revolves around sustainable design subjects, there would be sub-themes related to city context, needs, and user groups. Participants can select teams based on individual interests and convenient travel plans.

// APPLICATION & REGISTRATION PROCESS //

< STEP 1 > Fill out the Expression of Interest Form, a mandatory step. You can access the form here: https://forms.gle/io26KQ2j6nBBTUm9A

< STEP 2 Review and Choose. The course dossier contains all the information about the course themes, dates, travel guidelines, and refund policies. This will help you select the program that interests you the most.

< STEP 3  > Attend the Orientation Session organized by LxS  This session is a chance for you to interact directly with the course organizers (Team LxS) and get answers to any academic or travel-related questions.

< STEP 4 >  Short-Listing, based on the forms submitted, interested participants will be shortlisted. The LxS team will get in touch with you to guide you through the registration process and secure your spot. In some cases, you might need to provide work samples or participate in an interview.

< STEP 5 >  To secure your spot, make the course fee payment using our online payment platform. You will receive a confirmation receipt via email. Please ensure that your tuition fees are paid by January 15th to allow us enough time to process your VISA.

< STEP 6 > VISA and Travel Arrangements. A dedicated travel and VISA Help Desk from LxS will be available to support you. Since many of you might be traveling to Europe for the first time, our team will guide you through the entire VISA process and provide optional support for travel bookings as well.

Q & A SESSION WITH LxS TEAMS > Our Team members and group guides will host meet-up sessions to address any queries and provide further clarity about the program. < What is the total cost of the course? >
>  As per previous students' experiences, you can budget approximately 3 lakhs in total ( travel, accommodation, food, and Course Tuition Fees).

> The exact cost varies depending on your choices for accommodations and travel arrangements.

< Who will assist with the VISA application process? >
> We provide a dedicated HELP DESK that manages the entire VISA application process. Additional charges apply according to VISA application rules.

> You're also free to handle your VISA independently, and we'll provide all necessary documents.


< What does the tuition fee cover? Does it include VISA and travel expenses? >
> The course tuition fees cover academic teaching, materials, stationary, and model-making charges.

> All expenses for the trip, including VISA and travel, are the responsibility of the participants.


< What happens if my VISA application is not approved? >
> If your VISA is rejected, the course fees will be refunded.

< How can I effectively plan my travel arrangements? >
> We offer three forms of support:

1) Group counseling sessions with step-by-step guidance.

2) Assistance from our Travel Help Desk for bookings.

3) Detailed travel management guidelines to help you plan your trip effectively.


< In case I am unable to attend the course for any reason, is a refund possible? >
> We have a specific refund policy in place. Please refer to the Course Dossier for further details.


< Will I be traveling alone? If not, who will be accompanying me? >
> Typically, participants plan their travels in groups.

> After paying the tuition fees, we'll introduce you to your batchmates, and you're expected to travel all together.


< Who will be there in Europe in case of any emergency? >
> Our core team and professors will be with you throughout the program, ready to assist in any emergency.

> You'll spend a significant amount of time with your local European tutors during the academic schedule as well.


< Is accommodation provided by LxS? >
> LxS doesn't provide accommodation. However, our Travel Help Desk can assist you in booking accommodations.

> We also encourage students to book independent apartments for groups through Airbnb, allowing you to optimize your spending.

> We'll provide guidance on suitable areas and locations for accommodation bookings.


< Can I register for the course without paying the tuition fees? >
 > No, to secure your seat, it's mandatory to pay the tuition fees.


< Are there any scholarships or financial aid options available? >
