We have collaborated with ETSAM in several courses and workshops, bringing together international experts, which has focused on achieving new concepts, action-oriented research, and proposals for urban spaces rehabilitation. Cross culture learning of different practices, has enabled us to achieve more together than we could alone.

School of Architecture of Madrid has a long history of working on various innovative design projects in India. This department did support specific academic initiative of workshops, publications, students exchange, design competitions and knowledge sharing forum.

Though the School of Architecture IDEA is a young institution, they have achieved national recognition in the field of alternative methods of education. As one of our Indian academic partner, they extended unparalleled support by opening new gates for collaborative initiatives.

IDEA has contributed to Ahmedabad Heritage by assimilating rehabilitation exercises integrated in the learning processes of local students. Indus University has strongly advocated the concatenation of academic program with current issues of city development. Following the thread of same philosophy, many students have participated in long and short terms activities and courses which were focused on various forms of Ahmedabad City Heritage. Much of IDEA students’ research has helped us to create a robust base for our program expansion and, in future, the institute will continue to host joint workshops and lectures.

After some years of experience, failure and success, this young foundation has initiated a philanthropic initiative of Claris Capital Ltd. in architecture, urban and cultural/social domain.

It aims to create a collaborative platform to integrate crucial aspects of physical and intangible heritage prevailing in many cities in the world, starting with Ahmedabad district. The collaborative approach shall help in bringing concerned intellect and accurate expertise from across globe to single platform.

In academics, they intent to disseminate awareness to the young people and help to create a solid base for the future society. In private sector, the aim is to bring investment and increase the response towards social aspects. This union will provide the real capacity of making ideas and proposals feasible.
